Moeraki Boulders and on to Dunedin

We stayed overnight at a camp site about five minutes away from the Boulders.  A nice evening doing washing and having a walk around the Harbour and a drink in the local bar sitting in the sunshine.  The weather was changing though.

Awaking to a bit of a list to one side in the van indicated a problem.  A flat tyre.  I put the spare one on before it started raining - couldn't see a fault in the tyre.  Rang the company to see if they had a preferred repairer, and they said a company named 'Beaurepaires' in Dunedin.

By this time it was raining - but we visited the Boulders anyway.  They are very strange,  and very spherical. We got quite wet,  but it was worth it.  After this visit we drove to Dunedin and found the repairer.  Bill, for that was the chap's name,  said that it would take a while,  as he was on his own and had a list of cars before us.  We left him to it and went to explore Dunedin.

Unfortunately,  I forgot to take any photos with my phone during this period - so nice though Dunedin was,  I will have to wait until later to get photos from my camera to put here.

The tyre was fixed within three hours so I paid the man and we departed for the Dunedin peninsula to see some wildlife.  The problem with the tyre had been a very small nail.
