We packed up all of our stuff and discarded a few things that we had accumulated ready for the ferry crossing. We were breakfasted and ready by nine. Reception called us a taxi, which arrived in less than five minutes. The trip to the terminal took about twenty. Then we found that we had to check our cases, and we were only allowed one piece of carry on luggage. We had four.
(There has been a gap of nearly two weeks since writing this first bit. The date is now 6th March. Busy busy and lack of Internet has been a problem).
I'm still going to publish this without pictures as I'm using my phone's allowance.
We stayed overnight in Picton - which is a really nice place and worth more than a fleeting glimpse as you pass through. The waterside there is great.
